NPHS before demolition: a bit of history, the architectural firm that designed it was Fiske & Meginnis and Davis Engineering built the 1930 section of the High School. They built 2 elementary school buildings in Lincoln around the same time and are still in use today - Clinton and Elliott, which look very much like our beloved NPHS, less one floor.

Who remembers this?

Ernie Mohr's Angel House in North Platte. Each year Brown Harano Photography took a picture of the house. When Ernie passed, he made certain each of his children received one of the beautifully framed photos. He decorated with angels in honor of his wife, Mary Ann, who died when their youngest was just 2 years old. Together they had 11 children. Ernie also raised money for the Salvation Army by faithfully ringing the bell out in front of his display. It brings the family great joy to hear the stories of so
